Ramen VR introduces free-to-play mode and premium in-game currency for Zenith

Product updates

  • Ramen VR, the developer of the virtual reality game Zenith: The Last City, has announced the introduction of a free-to-play model for the game, now named Zenith: Nexus. Additionally, a premium in-game currency called Zennies will be launched.

  • Zenith: Nexus will incorporate content from The Last City and a new free-to-play section known as Infinite Realms. It features a game mode that will include a progressive action-adventure RPG, cooperative game sessions, an improved motion system, and a remodeled social playground. Moreover, Zennies can be used to purchase seasonal content and cosmetic items.

  • Ramen VR claims that the transition to a free-to-play model will enhance the social multiplayer experience, while the virtual currency and shop could enable a new income stream for the company. This move is also a way to accommodate a larger number of players to the new Zenith: Nexus and the existing The Last City.
