PayHop raises undisclosed sum in funding to expand into escrow duplicates market

Funding

  • Brazil-based PayHop, a BNPL provider, has raised an undisclosed amount in funding led by iDEXO (TOTVS' corporate venture capital fund), with participation from Experian Ventures, DOMO.VC, and Citrino Ventures. PayHop's total funding now stands close to BRL 11.5 million (~USD 2.3 million).

  • The company intends to use the funding to expand into the escrow duplicates market, with plans to leverage strategic corporate venture capital partnerships for growth and operational enhancement through integration with TOTVS' management systems.

  • The platform reported total transaction volumes of BRL 200 million (~USD 40.1 million), close to 400,000 retailers boarded onto the platform and a 6x YoY increase in revenue by the end of 2023.
