France-based Pixee Medical, a developer of augmented reality (AR) solutions for orthopedic surgery, has completed a venture capital round raising USD 15 million. The round was spearheaded by Relyens Innovation Santé, UI Investissement, Innovacom, and Angelor. It was also backed by Bpifrance.
The funds raised are to be used to expedite Pixee Medical's growth within the US, with the opening of a subsidiary in the first quarter. It also plans to roll out its latest AR navigation platforms in the near term, expand to Asia with an office in Singapore, and onboard new talent to bolster its growth.
