Mobileye, an Intel subsidiary developing technology for self-driving vehicles, has partnered with Project 3 Mobility (P3), a Croatian company working on an urban autonomous mobility ecosystem, to develop autonomous mobility solutions jointly.
Mobileye will bring its self-driving technology, “Mobileye Drive,” to this project, while P3M will develop a fully autonomous electric vehicle for the service.
The first service is expected in Zagreb by 2026, with on-road testing set for 2024. P3M intends to expand its urban autonomous service across various cities, having already made agreements with nine cities in the EU, the UK, and the Gulf Cooperation Council, with 30 more cities to follow.
Analyst QuickTake: Today’s news comes from P3 raising EUR 100 million (USD 108 million) in Series A funding for further product development and to expand the team.
