Blaize partners with Weikeng to expand Asia-Pacific distribution

Geographic expansion

  • Blaize, an edge AI processor and platform developer, announced its partnership with Taiwan-based Weikeng Industrial Co. Ltd., a distributor of semiconductor electronic components, information channel products, and technical services. Through the collaboration, Blaize aims to expand its sales footprint in China, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia.

  • The products will be distributed across a range of end industries, including automotive, IoT, smart retail, smart cities, metro, security, and smart factories, among others.

  • Blaize offers artificial intelligence (AI) computing hardware and software products to facilitate the migration of AI computing out of the data center to the edge. Founded in 2010 and out of stealth in November 2019, Blaize initially focused on chips to speed up vision and radar. Subsequently, its focus has expanded to data centers, edge infrastructure devices, and enterprise client devices.
