Lambda raises USD 320 million for improved GPU cloud services and infrastructure

Funding

  • Lambda Inc., a public cloud service provider for AI model training and deployment, secured USD 320 million in a Series C funding round. The round was led by US Innovative Technology, spearheaded by Thomas Tull and saw participation from other investors.

  • The newly acquired funds will be allocated toward expanding Lambda's offerings of NVIDIA chips, growing its GPU cloud services, and enhancing its network infrastructure with NVIDIA's Quantum-2 Infiniband capabilities.

  • Lambda also provides AI-optimized hardware solutions, including appliances and personal computers, for on-premises deployment. It offers a range of servers equipped with NVIDIA H100 GPU clusters, available for purchase by businesses for use in their own data centers or for shared use at Lambda's facilities.
