Lambda Inc., a public cloud service provider for AI model training and deployment, secured USD 320 million in a Series C funding round. The round was led by US Innovative Technology, spearheaded by Thomas Tull and saw participation from other investors.
The newly acquired funds will be allocated toward expanding Lambda's offerings of NVIDIA chips, growing its GPU cloud services, and enhancing its network infrastructure with NVIDIA's Quantum-2 Infiniband capabilities.
Lambda also provides AI-optimized hardware solutions, including appliances and personal computers, for on-premises deployment. It offers a range of servers equipped with NVIDIA H100 GPU clusters, available for purchase by businesses for use in their own data centers or for shared use at Lambda's facilities.
