Lilium partners with Star Charge and PhilJets

Partnerships

  • Lilium, an eVTOL jet developer, has partnered with Star Charge, a Singaporean EV-charging infrastructure and micro-grid solution provider, to develop charging systems for its eVTOL operations.

  • Lilium placed an order for 120 chargers from Star Charge for its use and customers’ vertiports. Star Charge's charging system will power Lilium’s ground and flight-testing aircraft later this year and will also be used at its delivery center.

  • Star Charge’s Combined Charging System (CCS) features an extra-long liquid-cooled charging cable that supports fast charging and reduces Lilium charging time.

  • Lilium also signed an MoU with PhilJets, a Philippine-based aviation provider, to establish regional air mobility in Southeast Asia, starting with the Philippines.

  • As part of the agreement, PhilJets intends to purchase 10 Lilium jets, and the two companies will further develop an eVTOL service in the region. Both companies will also explore landing infrastructure, vertiport partners, charging providers, and other areas.
