273 Ventures introduces KL3M, a language model trained on legally permissible data

Product updates

  • 273 Ventures introduces KL3M1, a large language model (LLM) trained for the legal sector and enterprise utilization, built from a custom dataset with legal clearance.

  • The company offers two initial models, KL3m-170m and KL3m-1.7b, and claims to reduce litigation complications and ethical concerns regarding data origin. Furthermore, KL3M's model is capable of extensive enterprise use, including answering regulatory questions, drafting contract provisions, extracting information, and executing Direct Preference Optimization.

  • The model will initially be available for Kelvin Legal Data OS customers.
