Ankr, a Web3 infrastructure provider, has announced an expansion for their rollup-as-a-service (RaaS) solution to include new capabilities and wider availability of the service, allowing developers to build layer-2 networks with partners such as ZKsync, Optimism , and Polygon .
The RaaS solution offers complete design, deployment, and infrastructure operations and integrates ankrETH in its liquid staking program, which can be used for gas fees and staking rewards. It also includes a globally distributed network of nodes for high speed and reliability in rollup applications.
Furthermore, Ankr also announced a partnership with Root Protocol to use Ankr’s EVM RPC endpoints to support Root dApps and its RaaS to develop tailored layer-2 chains for processing transactions of dApps before delivering them to public chains for secure settlement.
Analyst QuickTake: Ankr launched its RaaS solution in November 2023 by partnering with Optimism and is an extension of its Scaling Services package, which already provides developers with tools for launching custom sidechains on select blockchain networks.
