VR-based learning platform Moonhub raised USD 1.4 million in a funding round led by Unconventional Ventures, with participation from Pi Labs and Ada Ventures. The round brings Moonhub's total funding to USD 4.5 million.
Funds were earmarked to accelerate product development initiatives and to expand its operations into new markets.
UK-based Moonhub offers healthcare-based training for dementia care and CPD-accredited diversity and inclusion training for enterprises. Further, the company also provides bespoke XR training solutions, alongside a dashboard to monitor training analytics. The company claims that its platform requires only 25% of the time compared to traditional training methods.
Analyst QuickTake: The round follows the company backed by Google as part of its 2022 Cohort of the Black Founders Fund, having received USD 0.1 million in cash and one-on-one mentoring. Additionally, in April 2022 , the company raised USD 2.6 million in seed funding to further product development efforts.
