Elon Musk, has filed a lawsuit against OpenAI claiming breach of fiduciary duty and unfair business practices due to OpenAI's relationship with Microsoft. The lawsuit involves Sam Altman and Greg Brockman, co-founders of OpenAI, and the company's partners.
According to the lawsuit, Musk claims OpenAI has deviated from its original non-profit mission of developing AI for the "good of humanity." Additionally, Musk has historically been a significant contributor to OpenAI, donating more than USD 44 million to the non-profit entity until 2020.
Musk, a co-founder of OpenAI, left the board in 2018, stating that AI is potentially more dangerous than nuclear weapons.
