Pony.ai, a China- and US-based self-driving vehicle technology company, has partnered with South Korean tech company GemVaxLink to establish a joint venture (JV) in Seoul to offer self-driving mobility tech and services in South Korea.
The companies plan to roll out a fleet of autonomous vehicles offering ride-hailing services to the public.
The venture aims to leverage GemVaxLink's resources in South Korea for vehicle connectivity and software.
