Ubirider, a Portugal-based mobility-as-a-service (MaaS) platform, raised USD 1.95 million in a seed funding round co-led by Techtree Investments and Cedrus R&D III, with participation from Grupo Barraqueiro, Jose Santos, and Andrés Alcalá.
The funds will be used for the company's international expansion and to strengthen its product development and marketing teams.
Ubirider Platform provides digital MaaS platforms for transport providers, riders, and cities to plan, pay, and manage journeys. Its “Ubirider Platform” pitched toward transport and mobility providers offers solutions to manage operations, ticketing, sales, payments, and finances. It also offers a platform called “Pick,” a MaaS app for travelers to plan door-to-door trips and pay fares.
