Baseten Labs, a provider of AI/ML model deployment infrastructure, has raised USD 40 million in a Series B funding round led by IVP and Spark Capital, with participation from existing investors Greylock, South Park Commons, Lachy Groom, and Base Case. The total funds raised by the company now stand at USD 60 million.

The fresh funds will be used to double its 25-member sales team to expand its customer base and for product development initiatives. 

Founded in 2019, Baseten Labs provides a platform that enables companies to deploy and serve ML models efficiently and scalably in cloud environments. The platform automates and manages tasks in production AI environments, such as version management and observability. Its customers include Robust Intelligence, Gamma, PicnicHealth, Descript, and Rime.
