Civo, a cloud-native service provider, has acquired Kubefirst, an open-source GitOps-powered Kubernetes platform, from Kubeshop, its parent company. The terms of the deal, including the purchase price, have not been disclosed.
Kubefirst has been an open-source project since 2019. It is primarily focused on providing an instant production-grade Kubernetes Platform powered by GitOps. Even after Civo's acquisition, Kubefirst will continue operating under its existing brand, maintaining its open-source software version and cloud provider integrations.
