Plus One Robotics announces updates to enhance depalletization and induction processes

Product updates

  • Plus One Robotics, a developer of AI-based parcel-handling robots, has rolled out new automated depalletization and improved induction processes to enhance warehouse material handling reliability, accuracy, and speed.

  • New automated depalletization capabilities accommodate an increased variety of stock-keeping units (SKUs) for shrink-wrapped trays and cartons. It utilizes cutting-edge vision technology and AI to identify diverse product arrangements, streamlining the depalletization process precisely.

  • The company introduced the Individual Cup Control Gripper (ICC Gripper), enhancing its induction solutions. The ICC Gripper uses AI-powered software to pick and separate parcels using the optimal arrangement of suction cups. Plus One Robotics claims that the new ICC Gripper minimizes accidental suction of adjacent parcels and ensures maximum suction force is applied to the parcel surface, thereby preventing damage.
