Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) startup SuperAGI has raised USD 10 million in a Series A round led by Newlands VC, with participation from Meta, Apple, and Kae Capital. The total funding stands at USD 15 million with a valuation below USD 100 million.
The funds will be used for further research and development of middleware and software applications to enhance AI functionality across a broader range of use cases.
SuperAGI provides an open-source framework for developers to build, deploy, and manage Autonomous AI Agents. SuperAGI's aim is to develop a full-stack AGI platform based on large agentic models (LAMs), which is claimed to solve the shortcomings of large language models (LLM). The company’s launched solutions are used by ~20,000 developers, including Microsoft, Google, Tencent, Tesla, JP Morgan Chase, and OpenAI.
