Aptos Labs partners with Google Cloud to launch Web3 game development suite

  • Aptos Labs, a developer of layer-1 blockchain, has partnered with Google Cloud to launch Aptos GameStack, a Web3 game development suite aimed to assist game developers in incorporating Web3 features into its games.

  • The partnership combines Google Cloud's data, analytics, and AI/machine learning solutions with Aptos GameStack's Web3 game tools, allowing developers to focus on the development of games without the complexity of managing blockchain infrastructure.

  • The Aptos GameStack offers a range of integrated toolsets and features, including the Aptos SDK on the Unity Asset Store for integrating wallets, transactions, and NFTs, a composable token standard for cost-efficient minting and asset ownership, seamless sign-on solutions for connecting to existing Web2 accounts, and frictionless payments with fiat on/off ramps.

  • Analyst QuickTake: This partnership marks Aptos’ second collaboration within a few days. Previously, Aptos partnered with Movement Labs to integrate Movement SDK with Aptos’ data availability capabilities, establishing an advanced routing infrastructure to enhance interactions between the two protocols.
