Bioconsortia, a California-based company developing biofertilizer, pest management, and biostimulant products, has secured USD 15 million from an internal funding round to expand microbial product development to increase crop yields and broaden field trial programs. With the commercialization of the company's biofungicide, bionematicide, postharvest decay control, and nitrogen-fixing products in 2024, the company expects to expand its intellectual property estate, enlarge its lab in Davis, California, and also upgrade fermentation and formulation capabilities in the headquarters.
