GFL Environmental Inc., a solid and liquid waste management company, has acquired Angelo's Recycled Materials, a Florida-based recycling company.
The acquisition was part of its strategic expansion in the Southeast US, which included several transfer stations and a C&D landfill in Dade City, Florida, and aligns with GFL’s ongoing debt deleveraging campaign as it seeks to build investor confidence.
Angelo's Recycled Materials, which was established in the 1950s, operates seven facilities across multiple counties in central Florida. The company offers numerous services, including roll-off dumpster service, asbestos disposal, and tire disposal. The company operates a Class III C&D landfill in Dade City, Pasco County, and received an air permit in 2022. The incinerator is capable of processing 30 tons of wood waste per hour.
