Spectro Alloys, an aluminum recycling company, has partnered with The Opus Group to invest USD 71 million for an expansion plan on enhancing aluminum recycling at their Rosemount campus.
The investment will be utilized to build a new 90,000 sq ft facility to produce recycled billet and sheet ingot using updated equipment and pollution control technology and is expected to commence production in mid-2025. The company projects that this expansion will add around 120 million pounds per year to its recycling capacity.
Spectro Alloys is a US-based aluminum recycler dedicated to recycling end-of-life scrap aluminum and converting it into daily-use consumer goods across various industries. The company claims that it has recycled nearly more than 6 billion lbs of aluminum since its launch.
