MongoDB and Google Cloud expand collaboration for GenAI applications

Partnerships

  • MongoDB, a database service provider, has expanded its collaboration with Google Cloud to facilitate building, scaling, and deploying generative AI (GenAI) applications.

  • This deeper collaboration between MongoDB and Google Cloud allows customers to isolate and scale AI applications, streamline the building of AI applications with foundation models, and improve analytical workloads with automated data pipelines for operational data.

  • The partnership will also result in new extensions between Google Cloud Vertex AI and MongoDB Atlas and integrations with Google’s BigQuery and MongoDB Spark, enabling users to leverage proprietary data for building GenAI applications.

  • Additionally, MongoDB Atlas will integrate with Google Cloud Manufacturing Data Engine to help businesses in the retail and manufacturing sectors build industry-specific solutions and help those processing highly sensitive data to run applications under strict data privacy conditions.
