Weenat secures EUR 8 million in Series C funding to develop meteorological sensors

Funding

  • Weenat, a German developer of agricultural platforms, has raised EUR 8 million (~USD 8.68 million) in series C funding, led by ECBF, with participation from Pymwymic, LIBERSET, and IDIA Capital Investissement.

  • The company intends to use the funds to advance its meteorological sensors for farmers and for expansion.

  • Weenat, founded in 2014, develops an agricultural platform for farmers with mobile and connected solutions. The company specializes in producing sensors to provide data and water management solutions for farmers. It claims its 10,000 sensors have conserved 32 million cubic meters of water in 2023.
