Amazon Bedrock incorporates all versions of Anthropic’s Claude 3 AI model to improve GenAI capabilities

Partnerships
Product updates

  • Amazon Bedrock has collaborated with Anthropic to universally support all three models (Opus, Sonnet, and Haiku) of Anthropic's Claude 3 AI model.

  • The inclusion of these models in the Bedrock platform will allow users to test, construct, and implement GenAI applications. It’s considered to fit into Amazon's tri-level strategy for AI, providing foundational tools for developers on one end, and developing AI applications for end-users on the other.

  • As part of the agreement, Anthropic utilizes AWS as its primary cloud provider and offers future generations of its foundation models on Bedrock. Amazon claims that this collaboration with Anthropic will boost the customer experience by pushing the boundaries of GenAI technology.
