NVIDIA launches RTX A400 and A1000 GPUs with enhanced AI capabilities

Product updates

  • NVIDIA has launched the RTX A400 and A1000 GPUs, which are designed to make GenAI tools more accessible to a larger audience. The A1000 is currently available, while the A400 is expected to go on sale in summer 2024.

  • The A400 GPU features 24 Tensor Cores designed for AI processing and four display outputs, making it suitable for industries requiring high-density display environments like retail and financial services. Meanwhile, the A1000 uses 72 Tensor Cores and 18 RT Cores; it is claimed to offer 3x faster GenAI processing and accelerated graphics and rendering tasks, with a minimal power consumption of just 50 W.

  • Enhanced workflows involving complex AI processes and ray-traced renders have now become accessible, enabling professionals to push their work's boundaries with remarkable levels of realism.
