NVIDIA has launched the RTX A400 and A1000 GPUs, which are designed to make GenAI tools more accessible to a larger audience. The A1000 is currently available, while the A400 is expected to go on sale in summer 2024.
The A400 GPU features 24 Tensor Cores designed for AI processing and four display outputs, making it suitable for industries requiring high-density display environments like retail and financial services. Meanwhile, the A1000 uses 72 Tensor Cores and 18 RT Cores; it is claimed to offer 3x faster GenAI processing and accelerated graphics and rendering tasks, with a minimal power consumption of just 50 W.
Enhanced workflows involving complex AI processes and ray-traced renders have now become accessible, enabling professionals to push their work's boundaries with remarkable levels of realism.
