AI pathology startup Path AI and R&D cloud data management company TetraScience entered partnerships with Google Cloud to speed up drug development and other kinds of scientific research. The terms and financial details of the agreement have not been disclosed.

As part of the partnership, PathAI will make its proprietary AISight Intelligent Management System accessible to biopharmaceutical companies worldwide by integrating the platform with Google Cloud’s globally distributed infrastructure. AISight is a platform used to develop AI models that can analyze patient tissue samples for diagnostic use cases and clinical trials.

The Google Cloud-TetraScience partnership will enable TetraScience to access Google Cloud’s tools to simplify data processing and formatting, reportedly lessening the burden on scientific researchers. TetraScience has created a platform that transforms raw data into an AI-native format that AI algorithms can read.
