Netherlands-based HousingAnywhere, the operator of a rental accommodation marketplace and rental management platforms, just raised EUR 24 million (approximately USD 28.7 million) in a Series C funding round led by existing investor Real Web, with participation from a new investor, Ergeny Investments (a single-family investment firm). This latest round brings HousingAnywhere’s total funding to EUR 35.5 million (approximately USD 42.5 million).
The company aims to use the funds to enter 17 new cities across Europe, expanding its geographical reach into a total of 32 cities. Moreover, it will use the fund to acquire Kamernet, a leading classifieds website for one-bedroom apartments, studios, and rooms.
Founded in 2013, HouseAnywhere is the largest rental accommodation marketplace in Europe, with more than 60,000 rental properties listed on its platform. The company has taken steps to transform its business into a full-fledged property management platform by launching new products such as online rent collection and payment.
