Helm.ai launches high-fiidelity virtual scenario generation models for perception simulation

Product updates

  • Helm.ai, a developer of advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) software, autonomous driving software, and robotics, has released a new high-fidelity virtual scenario generation model based on neural networks. This is geared toward enhancing AI software to develop ADAS and autonomous driving systems.

  • The technology creates virtual driving scenarios with diverse conditions, such as different weather, lighting, and geographical settings, as well as detailed road features like facilitating training and validating AI systems in handling unusual or rare driving scenarios.

  • Users can input text or images to generate specific driving scenes for testing and development purposes. This flexibility supports the scalable and efficient training of perception software needed for autonomous vehicles.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Helm.ai has enhanced its product offerings with new features. The company also introduced Deep Neural Network (DNN)-based foundation models in December 2023 to predict vehicular and pedestrian behaviors and to anticipate autonomous vehicle paths.
