Geek+ partners with System Teknik to deploy shelf-to-person robots for Med24.dk in Denmark

Partnerships

  • Geek+, a developer of robotic systems for logistics and warehouse operations, has implemented the first shelf-to-person in Denmark, “PopPick,” at Med24.dk, an online pharmacy wholesaler, marking its first project in the Nordics. The robots will be deployed in partnership with automation solutions developer System Teknik.

  • The companies will deploy three PopPick stations and 30 robots to streamline Med24.dk’s warehouse operations and handle products of varying sizes without requiring additional infrastructure.

  • The PopPick workstations at Med24.dk feature dual retrieval arms and can present multiple tote racks simultaneously, allowing for a processing rate of up to 450 totes per hour.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Today’s collaboration adds System Teknik to Geek+’s more than 1,000 customers, including Toll Group, Decathlon, Dell, Nike, Walmart, and ASKUL.
