Rippl acquires Kinto to enhance dementia care

M&A

  • Rippl, a senior-focused mental health solution provider, has acquired Kinto, an AI-based dementia caregiver support platform, to expand its dementia care offerings.

  • Post-acquisition, the entire Kinto team, including CEO Joe Chung, who will serve as the CTO and head of AI, will join Rippl. Rippl plans to integrate Kinko’s AI tools into its systems, reducing the clerical load on care navigators and clinicians and enabling them to better guide and support families with specialized care.

  • Kinto has developed a platform to deliver AI-enabled education and support programs for dementia caregivers. The platform also incorporates GenAI tools that augment the work of care teams in assisting caregivers through their difficult care journeys. Furthermore, the company was supported by over USD 6 million in state and federal research grants from the National Institutes of Health.
