Carbon Robotics, a smart farming startup that develops robots to improve crop yield, has secured an undisclosed amount of funding from NVIDA's venture capital arm, NVentures, to advance its AI-powered farming technology.
The funding will support the development of the company’s solutions, including its AI-based autonomous weeding robot, LaserWeeder, which leverages 24 NVIDIA graphics processing units.
The company claims that the LaserWeeder can reduce weed control costs by up to 80% and improve crop yield and quality, eliminating the need for traditional weed control methods.
