UK-based Eleos, a digital life insurer, has raised USD 4 million in a seed funding round led by Indico Capital and Fuel Ventures, with participation from APX. The total funds raised by the company now stand at USD 4.8 million.
The new funding will be used to launch more types of life and disability insurance, form distribution partnerships in the UK, and expand into the US market.
Formed in 2022, Eleos offers digital life and income protection directly to customers and partners with financial brands to offer embedded white-labeled insurance. The company claims that it is on track to surpass GBP 1 million (~USD 1.3 million) in revenue by the end of 2024.
