Calysta partners with Dr. Clauder’s to launch dog treats made with FeedKindPet protein

Partnerships

  • Calysta, a cellular agriculture company, has partnered with German pet food manufacturer Dr. Clauder's to create dog treats using FeedKindPet, an air protein-based ingredient in pet food.

  • The partnership aims to deliver the first-ever dog treats from FeedKindPet, a nutrient-heavy, vegan protein source with a complete amino acid profile suitable for dogs. FeedKindPet also supports a healthy gut and is approved for use in the EU and US.

  • Analyst QuickTake: FeedKind, Calysta's flagship offering, is made using a patented fermentation technology without animal or plant products. It was initially developed for aquaculture and livestock industries and received GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) status in February 2023 . The FeedKindPet range aims to meet the demands of health and nutritional standards in pet foods while maintaining sustainability.
