DatologyAI raises USD 46 million for team expansion and product development

Funding

  • DatologyAI, a developer of an automated data curation platform for GenAI, has raised USD 46 million in a Series A funding round led by Felicis Ventures. Existing investors Radical Ventures and Amplify Partners participated, as did new investors Elad Gil, M12, and the Amazon Alexa Fund.

  • The funding will support the expansion of DatologyAI's team, with a focus on hiring more researchers and engineers to scale operations and advance data curation capabilities.

  • Analyst QuickTake:  This investment comes after a seed funding of USD 11.7 million in February 2024 , which was aimed at streamlining the organization of data to train AI more effectively. Improving how datasets are trained helps reduce harmful content and bias, making AI models safer and more dependable.
