Mimic raises EUR 2.3 million in pre-seed funding

Funding

  • Mimic Robotics, a Swiss robotic technology manufacturer, has raised EUR 2.3 million (~USD 2.47 million) in a pre-seed funding round led by Founderful, with participation from another.vc, Tiny.vc, and angel private investors.

  • The company plans to further develop its foundational AI model and humanoid robotic arm and launch them by the end of 2024.

  • Based in Switzerland, Mimic offers a multi-purpose robotic arm that can imitate a human hand to execute tasks that require complex motor skills. The company leverages a foundation AI model to enable the robot to reason and understand the physical world and be programmed using minimal demonstrations and engineering resources.
