Bitsight has launched the Discovery and Attribution Engine to help enterprises get an updated view of their Internet-based assets, relationships between third and fourth parties, and overall risk levels. The new technology aims to offer customers meaningful insights by analyzing and interpreting billions of security data points.

The new AI-powered engine includes a range of features, including the creation of a dynamic map for organizations' Internet-connected assets. This map aims to simplify and accelerate the process of viewing exposure across extended attack surfaces, evaluating risk, and prioritizing remediation works.

The company claims that the new solution can effectively reveal an external organizational risk overview and share recommendations swiftly and accurately. It also helps risk and security leaders to keep pace with changes at an internet scale. 

Analyst QuickTake: In February 2024, Bitsight launched a solution for managing third-party risk, which aimed to protect the digital supply chain by merging vendor risk management and continuous monitoring. The platform is capable of conducting vendor health assessments, management of onboarding processes, oversight of vendor security hygiene, and more. The new Discovery and Attribution Engine adds more capabilities to its solutions suite.
