SensiML, a subsidiary of QuickLogic focusing on AI/ML software for IoT development, has introduced an open-source AutoML solution for creating Edge AI/ML applications. The service is implemented through its Analytics Studio application.

The new offering leverages automated ML technology to make it easy and accessible for developers with limited data science knowledge to build ML models for IoT microcontrollers and Edge system-on-a-chip (SoC).

The company believes this approach will stimulate the adoption of Edge AI/ML, benefit end-user flexibility, and enhance the growth of SensiML's SaaS and the private-label tooling value.

Founded in 2017, SensiML provides software for ultra-low-power IoT endpoints, enabling AI to convert raw sensor data into meaningful insights directly on the device. Its flagship product, the SensiML Analytics Toolkit, offers a comprehensive development platform for data collection, labeling, algorithm and firmware auto-generation, and testing.
