Nutrition therapy provider Fay has emerged from stealth and raised USD 25 million in funding. The fundraising included a seed round led by General Catalyst and a Series A round spearheaded by Forerunner Ventures, along with participation from other investors.
The funds raised will double the company's network of registered dietitians by 2025 (reaching 2,000 dietitians), expand its service offerings, and increase the number of insurance plans with which it partners.
Fay provides a platform that connects users with registered dietitians and nutritionists who provide personalized nutrition counseling and meal-planning services for consultations on various health conditions such as diabetes, gut health, oncology, and weight loss. Fay Nutrition ensures that these services are covered by the user's insurance, making nutritional care more affordable and accessible.
