Elastic, a provider of search-powered solutions for data analytics, has rolled out a new product called "Search AI Lake."

Search AI Lake is a cloud-native architecture designed specifically for real-time, low-latency applications in areas such as search and security. It also powers the new Elastic Cloud Serverless offering, which aims to scale and manage workloads effortlessly.

Some of the main features of Search AI Lake include boundless scale, de-coupled computing and storage, and real-time, low-latency performance. It allows smart caching and segment-level query parallelization to reduce latency and enable faster data retrieval. The platform can automatically scale to meet the needs of workloads, and it includes a suite of AI relevance, retrieval, and reranking capabilities.

The platform is also distributed, allowing users to query data across regions, in the cloud, or within a hybrid environment.
