Elastic rolls out Search AI Lake for low-latency search

Product updates

  • Elastic, a provider of search-powered solutions for data analytics, has rolled out a new product called "Search AI Lake."

  • Search AI Lake is a cloud-native architecture designed specifically for real-time, low-latency applications in areas such as search and security. It also powers the new Elastic Cloud Serverless offering, which aims to scale and manage workloads effortlessly.

  • Some of the main features of Search AI Lake include boundless scale, de-coupled computing and storage, and real-time, low-latency performance. It allows smart caching and segment-level query parallelization to reduce latency and enable faster data retrieval. The platform can automatically scale to meet the needs of workloads, and it includes a suite of AI relevance, retrieval, and reranking capabilities.

  • The platform is also distributed, allowing users to query data across regions, in the cloud, or within a hybrid environment.
