Saint Luke's Heart Institute and Story Health partner to improve patient care

Partnerships

  • AI-based virtual care provider Story Health and Saint Luke's Mid America Heart Institute have partnered to launch a supportive program for patients with atrial fibrillation (AFib).

  • The new program is aimed to address the gaps in the treatment and diagnosis of AFib, a common form of cardiac arrhythmia. With AI and virtual care, the program enables patients to stay connected with the clinical team even outside clinic visits, supporting their care regimen. The program includes AFib-specific treatment plans, lifestyle support, risk factor modification, and medication monitoring. It will be initially introduced in Saint Luke’s, with plans for rollouts across other health systems.
