ŌURA to launch two new heart health features for ŌURA ring

Product updates

  • Diagnostics and lifestyle product provider ŌURA has announced the launch of two new heart health features for its product, the ŌURA ring. The new features are expected to become available in late May. One feature assesses users' cardiovascular age, while another estimates their cardio capacity. These features will be available to members as part of their membership package.

  • The cardiovascular age feature allows users to compare their cardiovascular age with their actual age. After using the ŌURA app for 14 days, members receive a metric indicating if their cardiovascular age is lower, higher, or equal to their actual age. The cardio capacity feature, based on VO2Max, measures the maximum amount of oxygen a person can use during exercise. To use this feature, users must complete a short walking test and establish a baseline VO2Max measure.

  • ŌURA also provides advice on maintaining or improving cardiovascular health. Users receive weekly and monthly data on their cardiovascular age and cardio capacity, along with tips on enhancing their scores through sleep and physical activity. This information can assist healthcare providers by offering insights into patients' health and supporting athletes in optimizing their training.
