Archer Aviation partners with Etihad Training to recruit and train pilots in UAE

Partnerships

  • Archer Aviation, an NYSE-listed eVTOL aircraft manufacturer, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Etihad Training (ET), a leading pilot training organization, to recruit and prepare pilots for Archer's Midnight aircraft for the UAE region.

  • The partnership aims to build an established Urban Air Mobility (UAM) network in Abu Dhabi and the rest of the UAE by creating a skilled fleet of pilots for Archer's Midnight aircraft. Archer also expects to equip ET's center in Abu Dhabi with a Midnight aircraft simulator for R&D in pilot training and to facilitate regulatory certifications.
