Nikola Motor Company (Nikola), a developer of heavy-duty battery-electric (BEV), fuel-cell electric (FCEV) trucks, and related infrastructure, has received an order for 100 FCEV trucks from drayage carrier operator AiLO Logistics. The deliveries are expected to take place in 2025. The deal was announced at the Advanced Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo 2024.
AiLO will use the trucks for its drayage services in the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach.
AiLO, a newly rebranded company combining other corporations, has previously ordered and has commenced receiving 50 such trucks from Nikola for 2024 as well.
