Kaia Health, a New York-based digital therapeutics company, has launched a new program, Balance Program, for people aged 65 and above as an extension to its digital musculoskeletal therapy.
The program consists of specially curated exercises and educational content that help users enhance their muscular strength and maintain balance. Further, a pilot study conducted on 2,500 senior users showed that the program improved user mobility by 56%, reduced movement fear by 54%, and enhanced confidence by 79% over six months.
