IBM announced a partnership with Salesforce to integrate features of the former's watsonx platform and Granite series models into Salesforce's Einstein 1 AI-backed CRM platform.
The partnership enables Salesforce customers to access IBM’s Granite large language models (LLMs) and their own LLMs built on watsonx, which are expected to be available by early 2025. The models can be utilized for content generation, summarization, and classification.
Further, IBM also joined the Salesforce Zero Copy Partner Network, enabling secure data transfers between the two platforms. Salesforce also announced that it joined the AI Alliance, a set of international organizations collaborating to build safe and responsible AI systems.
