Microsoft announced the general availability of Azure AI Studio, a cloud-based platform designed for developing and deploying GenAI applications, at the Microsoft Build 2024 developer conference.
Azure AI Studio includes visual and code-first tools, pre-built quick-start templates, and access to 1,600+ models from providers such as Meta, Mistral, Microsoft, and OpenAI. The platform allows developers to work with AI services and models for various uses and includes features like model benchmarks for performance comparison and a prompt catalog for learning prompt samples.
Furthermore, Azure AI Studio allows developers to use tools like Azure OpenAI Service and Azure AI Search to aid application development. It also provides options for data retrieval, fine-tuning, agent-based orchestration, and tracing and debugging, thereby providing developers with essential tools for creating responsible and customizable production-ready copilots.
Analyst QuickTake : Azure AI Studio was first introduced at Microsoft Build 2023 in May, with its public preview launched in November 2023. Since then, it has been enhanced with the integration of the open-source AI model LLaMA 2 in December 2023 and the inclusion of security tools in March 2024 .
