AI21, an enterprise AI systems provider, has partnered with Microsoft to incorporate AI21's latest model, Jamba-Instruct, into Microsoft's Azure AI as part of its model-as-a-service (MaaS) offering.
The partnership will allow Azure customers to access Jamba-Instruct without managing infrastructure to host the model. The companies claim Azure is the first hyperscale cloud to offer this model to customers, and it will be available soon on the platform.
Jamba-Instruct is a model with a large context window, capable of processing the equivalent of a 400-page novel designed for enterprise applications. Additionally, the model can question-answering, document summarization, and building chatbots for sustained and reference-based conversations.
