Averlon launches with USD 8 million to expand AI cybersecurity platform

Funding

  • Averlon, a cloud security startup, has launched with USD 8 million in a seed funding round led by Voyager Capital Partners, with participation from Salesforce Ventures and Outpost Ventures.

  • The new funding will be set aside to enhance the company’s AI-powered cloud security platform, improving threat prediction and neutralization, and expanding other capabilities.

  • Founded in 2022, Averlon offers a platform designed to counter AI-driven cyber attacks. The platform provides visibility into cloud assets, software, networking, and policies. The company aims to reduce the number of reactive alerts received by security teams by utilizing AI to identify issues that may develop into true cybersecurity threats.
