HomeToGo revealed its first beta version of AI Sunny, an upgrade to its existing guest support chatbot, "Sunny." This is considered a step toward "Super AI Sunny," an AI companion for the complete travel journey.
AI Sunny is designed to enhance the user's travel planning experience by guiding them throughout the search, booking, and post-booking process. It is also equipped to handle related extras such as tours and activities. Its key features include the ability to handle guest queries and decrease the escalation rate to human agents, thus improving usability and efficiency.
HomeToGo has also announced a partnership with Google Cloud’s Vertex AI. The company plans to utilize Google Cloud’s Vertex AI platform, including its model garden for training and customizing LLMs based on specific needs. Currently, HomeToGo is testing Google Cloud’s Gemini models for its Smart AI Reviews feature.
