Saffron Tech launches new pilot facility for improved saffron cultivation

  • Saffron Tech, a subsidiary of Sativus Tech that specializes in cultivating saffron that can produce yield all year round, has opened up a new pilot facility to enhance saffron production by streamlining the farming process.

  • The pilot facility incorporates sophisticated farming methods utilizing Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) and employs an autonomous system for cultivating saffron. The main objective is to make saffron more accessible and affordable without compromising quality.

  • The company expects to implement AI logic into the facility to improve productivity and quality and also to partner with various strategic partners and increase production by using commercial saffron farms, using insights from their pilot facility.
